WHAT IS THE POWDER COATING PROCESS?

Powder coating is a way to paint metal, cast iron, or aluminum materials. We start by surface prepping using a sand blasting process, so the metal is clean and ready to be colored. Then we apply an electromagnetic powder and it sticks to the products. When we first transfer the powder onto the metal, it can be wiped right off. To ensure an even finished product, we roll it into an oven and bake it for a set length of time depending on what we’re doing at somewhere between 400-500 degrees. And it bakes it right on the product. It’s much more durable than spray painting. It’s not indestructible, but it is durable.
